Note: the older/more unhealthy you are, the more the following list will help you! Also, if you’re younger/free from any sexual performance issues, then the more of the following points you take action of, the more likely you are to avoid embarrassing ‘performance issues’ in the future (“an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” as the old saying goes).

Let’s get into it…

1. Sleep

Studies show that 80-90% of American Men fail to sleep properly. 

When you fail to get 8 hours of quality, uninterrupted sleep each night, performance in ALL areas of your life will suffer – including ‘between the sheets’.

In fact, if you don’t sleep well, your Testosterone Levels will drop (leading to loss of sex-drive, poor erection quality and so on).

Question is:

“What can you do to sleep better?”

I’d like to give you 3 unusual suggestions that can be highly effective (because you’ve probably heard all the usual sleep suggestions – like get a great mattress and make sure your bedroom is cool and dark – a million times before!)

Sleep Suggestion #1: Meditate for 5-10 Minutes Before Bed

Many men are stressed, anxious, and overloaded with responsibility during their days. This doesn’t make it easy to get to sleep!

Meditating for 5-10 minutes before bed should help you feel a lot more calm, relaxed and stress-free – a great ‘recipe’ for much better sleep.

How do you meditate?

Doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It can simply be:

  • Sit in a comfortable position
  • Close your eyes
  • Shut your mouth
  • Breathe through your nose (allowing your breathing to happen naturally, without attempting to influence it in any way)
  • Focus on your breath
  • When your focus moves away from your breath, to a thought or feeling, gently return it to your breathing

It can take a few nights to get into meditation, but when you do, you may find it one of the most important parts of your day, from a health and sleep quality point of view.

Give it a try for a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Sleep Suggestion #2: Do Not Try to Go to Sleep Immediately After an Argument

Most couples have some arguments or disagreements. It’s stressful, but it’s part of life.

However, what should NOT be a part of your life, is going to bed ‘on the argument’. Meaning: going to bed having had an argument (or “shouting match”) and not having resolved it.

This is really bad, and it can have a terrible effect on your sleep quality.

Instead, ‘clear the air’ before you sleep. You don’t necessarily have to AGREE with your woman, and you don’t have to make anyone ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ – just find a way to ‘clear the air’, lighten the atmosphere, and then you can both enjoy a better night’s sleep!

Sleep Suggestion #3: Do Not Try to Go to Sleep with a Mind that is Racing

This problem sometimes keeps me awake at night…

My mind races – usually with IDEAS…

Ideas about business… ideas about strength training… ideas about fun things to do with my kids.

Although going to bed thinking about things you want to achieve can have powerful MANIFESTING Powers…

It also stops you sleeping!

And, if you’re lying in bed thinking about things that STRESS YOU OUT – that’s really not good.

Here’s the solution:

Write the stuff down.

Either on a pen and paper you keep by your bedside for this purpose. Or, on a note on your smartphone (just remember to put your smartphone on flight mode before sleep).

I find that once I’ve written the thing down – good or bad – I can then forget about it, and, as a result – getting to sleep is much easier.

I’m not sure anything can have as powerful an effect on your Health, Vitality and Sexual Performance as sleeping well. Do ALL that you can to optimize your sleep!

2. Nutrition

If you eat a crappy diet – full of processed foods, refined sugar, trans fats and so on – your health and performance WILL suffer. Period.

It’s no different to putting petrol in a diesel car, or vice versa. Wrong fuel causes things to break. It’s just a FACT.

Personally, eating well vs eating a crappy meal, is the difference between having total control over my sexual performance, and struggling to even feel DESIRE (let alone achieving a hard, throbbing erection that lasts 30 minutes or more).

What should you eat for optimal health and sexual performance?

Well, it’s really quite straight forwards – so long as you’re prepared to do the opposite of what most people do!

Eat liberally:

  • Natural, unprocessed (or minimally processed), organic foods, including…
  • Fruits and Vegetables
  • Healthy Animal Foods (Organic Grass-Fed Beef, Wild Fish, Free Range Organic Chicken, Free Range Organic Eggs etc)
  • Raw, Organic Dairy (if it agrees with you, and if it’s legal where you live)
  • Healthy Carbs (rice, quinoa, root veggies and so on)
  • Healthy Fats (avocados, fatty meat and fish, egg yolks, nuts, seeds and so forth)
  • Water
  • High Quality Salt

Eliminate or minimize:

  • Unprocessed food
  • GMOs
  • Refined Sugar
  • Trans Fats
  • Artificial flavorings, preservatives, and colourings
  • Soy
  • Alcohol
  • Refined Salt

Hardly rocket science is it?

If you want to bring a SWORD to the bedroom, as opposed to a LIMP NOODLE – you have to fuel yourself for extraordinary performance. Period.

3. Exercise

You gotta do some if you want high levels of health and sexual performance.

Here are my recommendations:

Funny point: sometimes people talk about being ‘worn out’ from SEX. But, that can only happen if you’re really out of shape
