Back when I was 25 I got up to about 210 pounds. And, it took A LOT of eating. I’d just eat all day long. Usually not because I was HUNGRY… but rather because it had become a HABIT!
These days I’m 34, and 170 pounds, with abs, year round.
I don’t stress myself out counting calories, I don’t do ‘cardio’ and I don’t beat myself up if I go to the cinema and have some popcorn and an ice-cream now and then!
But, what I do stick to, 95% of the time, is this Golden Rule:
I eat when I’m HUNGRY.
Try it – you’ll be surprised how:
- Easy it is to lose excess body-fat
- Much more Energy you have

Why’s that?
Because it takes about 20 minutes for your body to register that you’re ‘full’ and no longer hungry (this article explains more).
That’s why you can go to a fast food restaurant – and down 2000 calories in the form of an insanely unhealthy and fattening “burger, fries and shake” – because those foods require very little CHEWING…
…so you nail it all, within 10 or 15 minutes, and your poor stomach doesn’t even realize you’re no longer hungry… you just BOMBARD it with CALORIES, give yourself heartburn, and then fall into a ‘carb coma’ a little while later.
Not good.
Slow the f-down.
Chew your food.
Put your knife and fork down between mouthfuls.
TASTE what you’re freakin’ eating, instead of hoovering it up like it’s your last meal!
And by the way…
I used to be a sucker for this mistake myself. I’d barely chew my food, I’d eat incredibly fast. I’d get acid reflux afterwards. I’d have indigestion.
So listen, I get it.
