How to Get More Energy – 7 Simple, Safe, Proven Strategies

If You’d Like to Safely and Naturally Increase Your Energy Levels – Here’s Exactly How to Do it…

Energy is LIFE. Without enough of it, it’s impossible to achieve your goals, feel good about yourself, and live up to your true potential.

The sad thing is…

Most people these days have LOWER energy than they’d like. And, to make up for it, they rely on harmful substances like caffeine and refined sugar to get through their days. 

In this blog post, you’re going to discover 7 simple, safe and proven ways to INCREASE your Energy Levels – so you can get more done, and have more fun in the process!

Let’s get into it…

1. Sleep More

This might sound PAINFULLY obvious… yet, for many people, MORE SLEEP is the simplest and most effective way to boost their energy levels.

I found this out for myself recently…

You see, for years I’d been going to bed at 11pm, and getting up just before 6am. Giving me just under 7 hours of sleep a night.

I decided to start going to bed at 10pm instead (very boring, I know), just to see what would happen.

The result?

My energy level went through the roof.

For me, at this time in my life, 7 hours sleep a night simply wasn’t enough for me to feel my most ENERGETIC. 8 hours totally transformed things. 

You might want to give it a try!

2. Drink More Water and Quality Salt

Another thing that massively boosted my energy levels, was drinking more clean water, and quality salt.

Generally speaking, for every 500ml of water I drink, I’ll usually add ¼ or a ⅓ of a teaspoon of Pink Himalayan Salt.

The effect is extremely hydrating. And, so long as you add some Lemon or Lime as well – tastes rather good too.

If you only increase your WATER intake, without also increasing your SALT intake, the effect can be DEHYDRATING.

The combination of WATER & SALT is amazing. It’s hydrating, and hydration boosts Energy and Performance. 

Again, give it a try!

3. Exercise Daily

Although exercise requires energy, it also makes you feel more energetic. Strange, but true.

Of course, if you exercise to failure and exhaustion, and try to ‘Kill Yourself’ every time you set foot in the gym, or go out for a run, that’s not going to make you feel more energetic.

However, if you exercise regularly, using a carefully thought through exercise program that doesn’t cause injury, and that you can recover from – you’ll feel more energetic than if you live the ‘Couch Potato, 6 Hours of TV a Day’ Lifestyle many people live!

4. STOP Doing Things You Find Boring!

One of the reasons why I was only a ‘B Student’ at school was because I found most of the things I was being taught insanely boring

Half the time I’d find myself falling asleep in class, or daydreaming about way more interesting things.

This is true with everything in life – if you find it BORING, it tends to create stress, and make you feel tired and lacking energy.

Of course, you can’t avoid all boredom in life – the dishes need putting in the dishwasher, and the tax return has to be done…

But, the point here is still valid…

If you want to feel more ENERGETIC, on a day-to-day basis, cut all the boring crap out of your life. Life’s way too short, and way too precious to spend it being bored!

Hint: anyone who watches 6 hours of TV a day (and studies show many Americans do), is living a BORING life. Period.

5. Spend More Time Doing Things You’re Passionate About

This is the exact opposite of feeling like you lack energy because you’re doing too many boring things…

If you find your true PASSION, and spend more time on that, your Energy will go UP.

Think about it…

Many people are burned out and exhausted after working 8 hours (9am-5pm) in an office job that requires no great mental or physical effort. Why does it burn them out and drain them? Because they HATE it. Because they’re BORED.

In contrast, some people work 12, 14 or even 16 hour days for periods of their lives, and are totally ‘fired up’ and ‘motivated’ – with lots of ENERGY – because they are working on something they love!

Now, hear me out…

I’m not saying you should aim to work 14-16 hours a day. At least, not for long periods of time.

But, what I am saying is this

When you find your true passion – it’ll motivate you, make you highly enthusiastic, and supercharge your Energy Levels.

6. Drink a Pint of Fresh Vegetable/Fruit Juice Each Day

Whenever I’m feeling my most healthy, vibrant and energized, I’m almost always drinking 1-2 pints of vegetable/fruit juice each day. That’s about 500-1000ml by the way.

Now, I’m NOT talking about store-bought juice that’s pasteurized. I’m talking about freshly made, organic juice, made AT HOME – so you know exactly what’s in it, and what quality of produce is being used.

Juice, made like this, is incredibly nutritious – containing an abundance of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. It’s literally like ‘Liquid Medicine’.

My favorite recipes include:

  • Straight Celery Juice
  • Straight Watermelon Juice (probably my favorite of all time. And, I’m actually sipping on some now, as I type this blog post!)
  • Carrot/Apple/Beet/Lemon Juice
  • Apple, Celery, Cucumber, Spinach, Lime

Try having one of those juices each day, and see how you feel. I’m willing to bet you’ll have more energy. And, you might notice other health benefits such as better digestion, less muscle soreness after working out, better looking skin, clearer eyes, a sharper mind, and so on.

I know many people are HATING on ‘sugar’ in a big way right now. But, you have to understand that the sugars that occur in fruits and vegetables are not the same as the poisonous crap you get in processed foods.

7. Lower Your Stress Levels

As a man you probably already know that STRESS is an ENERGY KILLER.

Consider your sex-drive. A high sex-drive goes hand-in-hand with having high energy.

Now. If you’re like most men, what happens when you feel stressed?

Your sex-drive (energy) goes down the drain!

Too much stress isn’t good for your health in any way. And, it ain’t good for your energy levels either. So, try any, or all, of the following to LOWER your stress levels:

  • Eating a better diet
  • Sleeping more
  • Dealing with problems as soon as you can, instead of putting them off until tomorrow!
  • Fixing broken relationships
  • Ending toxic relationships
  • Spending more time doing things you enjoy
  • Eating more green foods
  • Going for leisurely walks
  • Meditating
  • Getting massage
